Job Vacancy - Bid Writer

 Working on a Bid

When assessing the operational priorities for the business, the COO/DCOO will assign bids to the Bid Writer in the context of a specific project team led by a Bid Manager (this could be a Bid Manager, a Senior Bid Manager, Deputy COO, and/or COO). As part of a bid, they will then be expected to:

• Support the Manager in preparing Bid Admin 
• Research the client and the opportunity
• Attend key meetings (e.g. Pink and Red Teams)
• Participate in internal storyboarding sessions
• Write questions as allocated by the Manager to set timescales
• Participate in the review process:
• React to ongoing internal QA
• React to external RED Team feedback
• Onboard and learn from feedback received
• Support delivery of a bid for review by a Senior Ops member ahead of submission to the client as directed by the Manager
• Support with upload activity as directed by the Manager
• Ensure compliance with and adherence to HealthBid methodology
• Any other related processes

For Plan activity, they will be expected to work on a range of assignments, including research and analysis, as directed by the Senior Plan Manager, and Tier 1 asset as appropriate.

All of the above will be managed under the supervision of the COO/DCOO, and using all the resources of the business as appropriate.

As a Member of the Bid Team

As a member of the Bid Team, the Bid Writer may be asked to carry out any of the actions above as part of a project managed by either the COO/DCOO, or another member of the team.

They will attend weekly team meetings, including:

• MD’s meeting
• Heads Out

Within the context of the BidEngine model, they will remain agile to support other team members on differing projects as the need arises.
