We’re looking for a marketing professional with experience in developing and implementing a sound marketing strategy that drives results for a growing organisation.   

Job Description

The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role and be well versed in executing campaigns and marketing plans from initial idea through to implementation and optimisation, whilst managing key stakeholder and agency relationships along the way. 

The Marketing Manager will be self-motivated, forward-thinking, and able to come up with reactive ideas that help generate high-quality leads.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Line managing our Marketing Executive, managing ongoing WIP and coordinating marketing tasks to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Be responsible for the effective management of the annual marketing budget.
  • Implement our ongoing marketing strategy to drive high-quality inbound leads, and work with our external marketing agency to support in the delivery of these plans.
  • Develop the creative, messaging, and targeting strategy for all campaigns to increase brand and service awareness.
  • Tracking and optimising the performance of all campaigns to ensure they are running as effectively as possible.
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales and Business Development Executive to ensure the marketing strategy is optimised to deliver on sales targets.
  • Working as part of the Senior Management Team to drive the business forward and deliver on wider business strategy and targets.
  • Design and creation of all marketing materials, internal and external.
  • Design, generate content for, and distribute B2B email campaigns through our CRM.
  • Effective database management to allow for segmentation of B2B email comms.
  • Creating and scheduling social media content for the coming weeks and months – including writing post copy and designing post creative.
  • Engaging with potential customers through social media via community management methods.
  • Scheduling and promoting webinars via social and email and working with the wider team to shape content.
  • Building relationships with partner companies to elevate our reputation.
  • Ongoing maintenance and management of the HealthBid website and WordPress CMS.
  • Creating new web pages for case studies, blogs, new services, and recruitment, in line with business needs.
  • Working with the Operations team to develop new and engaging content, both written and filmed to portray HealthBid as thought leaders within the industry and support our SEO strategy.
  • Providing written reports to the board and wider business on a weekly basis.
  • Supporting the wider business to build and implement recruitment strategies and support with team growth.
  • Educating the wider business on the importance of marketing activities.

Skill Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
  • Experience in line management and the ability to support, mentor and encourage junior members of the team.
  • Is enthusiastic and passionate about marketing with a creative mind and an ability to apply their thinking to develop ways to target new clients.
  • Has good creative writing skills
  • Should be well versed in the use of Google Analytics and Google Ads to monitor website activity and campaign success.
  • Have a good understanding of how to monitor and implement a sound SEO strategy.
  • Knowledge of SEMRush would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
  • Have a clear understanding of PPC and remarketing tactics.
  • Be well versed in the use of the Adobe Suite – mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Be proficient in the use social media scheduling tools.
